Analytics
Stop guessing whether your marketing works.
Analytics are included with every service. Standalone setup and audits from $500.
Only some small business owners I talk to have Google Analytics installed. Almost none of them look at it. The few who do open it see a wall of numbers they don’t understand, close the tab, and go back to guessing.
That’s not their fault. Analytics tools are built for marketers, not business owners. My job is to translate what you’re seeing into something you can understand. I set up tracking that measures what actually matters to your business, then tell you in plain English what’s working and what isn’t.
What's included
Analytics is built into every engagement I take on:
- Website builds — Google Analytics 4 setup, basic conversion tracking, and a walkthrough so you know how to read it
- SEO retainers — Monthly reporting in plain English, ranking and traffic data, recommendations based on the numbers
- Monthly content — Performance tracking on every post so we know what’s worth doing more of
For businesses that aren’t doing other work with me but want their analytics fixed, I offer standalone services.
Standalone analytics services
For businesses with a site that has no tracking, broken tracking, or default-only setup. Includes:
- Google Analytics 4 installation and configuration
- Conversion goal setup for what matters to your business (form submissions, calls, bookings, purchases)
- Google Search Console setup
- Walkthrough call so you can actually use it
Analytics audit — $750
For businesses already collecting data but unsure if it’s accurate or what it means. Includes:
- Review of existing tracking setup and identification of gaps or errors
- Audit of conversion tracking accuracy
- 90-day performance assessment with key findings in plain English
- Prioritized recommendations
- 60-minute walkthrough call
Monthly reporting — $200/month
For businesses that have tracking working but want someone to actually look at it each month and tell them what it means. Includes:
- Monthly report focused on what changed and why it matters
- Specific recommendations, not just charts
- One hour call per quarter to talk through trends
What it costs
| Service | Starting at |
|---|---|

| Analytics setup (one-time) | $500 |
| Analytics audit (one-time) | $750 |
| Monthly reporting | $200/month |
What I actually track
Real metrics tied to your business, not vanity stats:
- Where your visitors come from — search, social, referrals, direct
- What they do on your site — pages viewed, time spent, paths through the site
- What converts them — which pages and traffic sources actually produce leads or sales
- What doesn’t — where people drop off, what’s costing you customers
- How it’s trending — month over month, season over season
Page views and bounce rate are not the point. Customers and revenue are the point.
Best for
- Businesses running marketing but unsure what’s actually working
- Sites where tracking was set up years ago and may or may not still be accurate
- Owners tired of monthly reports full of charts but empty of insight
- Anyone who’s about to make a marketing decision and wants the data to back it up
Not the right fit for
- Enterprise-level data needs (data warehouses, custom dashboards, multi-platform attribution modeling)
- Anyone wanting raw data dumps without interpretation (there are cheaper tools for that)
Questions You Might Have
I already have Google Analytics. Why would I need this?
Having Analytics installed and having it set up correctly are different things. Default GA4 doesn’t track what most businesses care about: form submissions, phone calls, bookings, and purchases. The setup service makes it actually useful.
What's the difference between GA4 and Universal Analytics?
Universal Analytics stopped collecting data in July 2023. If your last setup was before then, your current data is incomplete or wrong, and you’re overdue for a proper GA4 configuration.
Will you give me access to my own data?
Yes. Everything I set up is on your accounts, in your name, with you as the owner. No hostage situations.
Can you connect this to other tools I use?
Usually, CRMs, email platforms, scheduling tools, and most major platforms have integrations. Tell me what you use, and I’ll tell you what’s possible.
How is this different from the reports my [agency / SEO person / web guy] sends me?
Most agency reports are exports: raw numbers in a pretty template. The job is interpretation. You should finish reading a report knowing what to do, not just what happened.
Ready to actually understand your numbers?
Free 30-minute call. Bring whatever access you have to your current analytics (or tell me what you don’t have) and we’ll figure out the right next step.
